Custom web sites are an effective way to reach your target audience online, but with today's economy, the cost may be prohibitive for smaller to medium-sized businesses. At Design Spike, we know a strong online presence can make or break your business, which is why we have created our Virtual Site Builder, an online tool allowing you to create a powerful website using your own graphics and content, and our easy-to-use web site editor. If you have experience with web design, feel free to jump right in and start designing your new site. Note that in the full version, you'll be able to create your own navigational menus (ie page links), add and change your header graphics, create pages for your site, and add text, graphics, sound, and movies to those pages. Try the Virtual Site Builder Demonstration
This demonstration will allow you to access and try out some of the tools we've developed for our Virtual Site Builder technology. Some of the tools included in the full version have not been activated on this page. The full version of the designer allows a user to change the logo, or "header" image and the content and title for each individual page.
Instructions
- Click the 'Style' link under - design -.
- Click on the image of one of the three available styles you like the most. It will become highlighted in red.
- Click 'save'. You will see message right above the styles indicating 'Layout Successfully Saved'.
- Click the 'Color Scheme' link under - design -.
- Change the editable properties of your design layout with the indicated control panel. Here you can change colors, fonts, and footer text. You can see the effects of the color change under the 'Demo' row.
- Click 'save' once you are satisfied with the color scheme and font.
- Click '» Launch Design «' to view your creation.
- Give Design Spike a call when you are ready for access to the full suite of tools (509-252-5060).
